Music has a magical effect on people with dementia. At the Bridges, we have lots of singing, dancing and live music to stimulate memory and keep up the youthful spirit.
Gardening:
Making things grow is wondrous work. Veteran or budding green thumbs enjoy the therapeutic joy of making our vegetables grow and our flowers bloom.
Cooking & Baking:
Good company in the kitchen never tasted better. Measuring and mixing like they used to give our residents the satisfaction and independence of cooking.

“My experience with Spring Oak has been almost 100% positive. Our Mom moved into Assisted Living in August of 2018 and has recently had to move into the Bridges memory unit. Every department has exceeded our expectations and my mother has had a wonderful 3 years living there. As her health and mental acuity have declined, the staff has stepped up and guided us every step of the way. We couldn't ask for more and hope she is able to spend the rest of her days in the place she calls home.”

There are fun activities and field trips posted daily to keep my folks cognitively active. There is even a vegetable garden which brings joy to my mom. It feels like home.
